A quote that I just read from this book:
Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all that we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world and all there ever will be to know and understand. -Albert Einstein
Don't worry about the rules and the way you think things should be. Instead, embrace the incredible things that are being created naturally right in front of you. ~Jen
This baby girl has two older sisters. We actually took her outside and had the sisters stay in for some one-on-one time. I don’t think mom would have had the chance to connect this way with anyone else around. It reminds me of how important it is to spend time alone with each child. You just really get to know them, don’t you? I am so guilty of always getting Cara and Preston together to hang out at the same time. Mainly because I don't want one to feel left out and also because I just love to watch the two of them, but you need to take some time with each one as well. Thanks for the reminder B :-)
and speaking of her older sisters that were waiting for us... what can I say except they were just incredible kids to photograph!
I got the chance to meet these girls right away. They had both spent a little time in the nicu, but I was there the day after the last one got to come home. I have heard so much about the twin bond. How unique and special it is. I hope I captured that on thier first photo session...
and thier big brother was just as smitten with them as you could imagine! So sweet!
Thank you for stopping by :-) I hope you visit often and see some of the great kids and families I get the opportunity to work with.
A little bit about me...
I am a wife, mother of two and a portrait photographer (obviously!). My husband's name is Greg and my children are Cara (4) and Preston (2). Both of my kids enjoy being photographed and you will see them pop in on my website and blog often.
I specialize and only work with newborns, children & families. These are my favorite subjects! I love the challenge and interest of location work, so this is all I do; I never work from a studio. I often work in client's homes, local parks and gardens and other interesting spots around town. My goal is to create a collection of photographs that tell a story about my subjects and capture their true spirit. My photos are natural and artistic. My favorite medium is black and white because of the beauty and timelessness of it. I often add color for clients as well and have some fun with it. If you haven't had the chance, have a look around my website to get a feel for my work www.photojenicinc.com.
Thanks and see you on the blog!
